Seattle Creative Mornings: Episode 1 – Matt Shobe

I’ve been helping a friend get Creative Mornings going here in Seattle and we held our first event last week. It was a fair amount of work to make this whole thing happen, but fortunately I met the wonderful Bryan Zug and he continues to be instrumental in making our events possible – Thank you VERY much, Bryan.

Brian’s firm, Bootstrapper Studios turned around the cut on our first event’s video in record time and it’s posted here in HD for you to check out. Make sure to mark your calendar for our next event on December 9, 2011 – it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Seattle’s the place to be for startups

Our client Gist just released this great infographic showing the recipe that makes Seattle such a great place for startups.

Gist's recipe for a great Seattle startup culture

Since helping startups craft their identities and online experiences is one of Design Commission’s areas of expertise, we are thrilled that our region is starting to get more attention as a great place to launch new ideas. We’re proud to be part of the culture here, and are looking forward to the day we’re #1 on everyone’s list of startup communities.
