Newsletter – January 2009

Special Edition Newsletter
Happy New Year from Design Commission! This is a special newsletter because it's all about us. You've heard the saying "The cobbler's kids have no shoes." Well, after making lots of new shoes for our clients, this month, we've finally got a new pair. Three new pairs actually. As with any business, client work always comes first. We want to make sure that our clients are satisfied and we can continue to do what we're passionate about. The team wrangled together some extra hours and created three great projects — all conceived and made by DC!
New Work

The New DC Website
We're proud to announce our completely redesigned Website. Over the past year, we have refined our process and honed our goals here at DC. We needed a Website that speaks to what we do best and how we operate, and at the same time looks towards the future. Check it out, and as always let us know what you think. Also, if you're interested in some of the details of the new site, view the first blog post.
Introducing DC Gallery
One of the things that we chose to do with our redesign is to break out the gallery component from our day-to-day interactive design and development work. By presenting our interactive craft separately from our art and design exhibits, we make sure the exhibits get the attention they deserve. Peruse our past shows or keep up-to-date with our current exhibits.
DC Web Stencil Kit
Do you sometimes quickly prototype a Website on a piece of paper? Have you ever wanted a browser chrome on top of your sketch book? Looking for the ultimate gift for your UI/UX designer girl/boyfriend? Our new web stencil kit is for you!

The kit includes:
  • Stainless steel stencil with all your favorite user interface iconography
  • Heavyweight paper pad with browser chrome on top
  • Zebra mechanical pencil
