Playfulness
Successful Websites use design to create experiences for their users that are memorable ones. The best Websites often use a number of tactics to achieve this and one particularly useful tool is play.
Humor is a great mechanism for resonance – we often remember the parts of life that are funny more than the parts that are not and the same logic applies to your Website. The context for this is important, yes, but even in some pretty "serious" situations, a little playfulness can go a long way.
